hexagon wall

woodwool cement board is made in a tiny town located between the two swedish towns of Stockholm and Malmö.  FORM US WITH LOVE a design studio – found out about these manufacturers and teamed up to create hexagon. hexagon is a collection of hexagonal discs that come in a wide range of colors.

the wood blocks are made in an environmentally friendly way and the end result is water resistant, as well as moistur, fire and sound absorbant. the tiles are mainly made from wood and excelsior or wood wool – which is commonly used to stuff teddy bears or for packaging.

the tiles were presented at stockholm design week 2011.
