Aussie 'Dorm'

My room is very small, I even have a loft bed and fridge in it, My main colors are white and gold, the floor is grey carpet with white wall that have a little green tint, I really want to add teal as an accent color, but I have hit a speed bump, I dont know what color rug to use, I want to do as shag rug as I will be sitting on a bean bag to watch television. I would love some ideas or suggestions to keep with the color scheme 🙂
