Contact lens

Hey. I love wearing blue contact lens. I have been using contacts for almost 3 years. I never experienced any issues so far. But recently, I feel as if a foreign body had entered my eyes. Could it be some sort of infection? Or could it be dry eyes? My eyes would become red if I keep on using the laptop for a longer period. I have scheduled an appointment with my eye doctor tomorrow. But before that, I would like to know whether anyone here had experienced such issues?
