    Hi Mr. Kate,

I have been going back and forth for months on what type of storage or shelving to put in my bedroom for my books, décor, etc.

I have turquoise walls with red accent pieces, white crown molding, and distressed cream furniture and was wondering what type of shelving I should get. Please let me know if you have any suggestions.

I have approximately 3 to 4 ft of space in a corner between my dresser and a wall.

    Thank you,

    A fellow creative weirdo

    Hey Taylor!!

Does that mirror pictured go above the dresser? If not, you should look into floating shelves! You can paint them the same cute turquoise as your walls, then stack them with Ikea boxes like we did in Daisy’s Lair on Office Goals!

If these shelves won’t fit over the dresser, is there anywhere else in the room they’d fit? If not, try a ladder like this DIY Copper Pipe Ladder and lean it against the wall. You can use it to store a few books, blankets, or even clothes and shoes!

    Hope this helps!

    XOXO,

    Kate

Yes. The mirror goes above the dresser. I am including some pictures to give a better understanding of what I am working with.
