University Room Needs HELP

Hey!!

So I’m moving into my new university room very soon and I need some help/advice decorating! They have a very strict rule of not allowing to put stuff on the wall. This is difficult for me because at my parents home, I have so many pictures and a bohemian cloth hanging up, which I would’ve loved to of taken. Plus I NEED FAIRY LIGHTS. How can I personalise my small room without breaking any rules?

Command strips!! They come in so many variations now, including some that are super strong for holding up picture frames and hooks. Also in my dorm experience, they also told us not to hang stuff, but when I moved in, there were tack holes everywhere, so I just hung stuff with tacks anyway. If neither of those work, you can always get a display board (cork, magnet, fabric, etc.) and just prop it on something against the wall.
