earthquake!!! it’s a loungy Easter Sunday and all of a sudden our home turned into a rocking ship! 6.9 in epicenter of Northern Mexico… we felt the rolling shock-waves which lasted over 30 seconds. joey and i stood in the doorway and then ran outside! it’s such a bizarre sensation. i lived in Northridge during the ’94 Northridge Earthquake. our house was totaled… this wasn’t even close to that. the poor kitties were so scareded though!
last night we went out to The Village Idiot on Melrose to celebrate our buddy Todd Strauss-Schulson booking his major motion picture directorial debut directing A Very Harold & Kumar Christmas! …follow him on Twitter!
so many good peeps were there and we stayed out until the bar closed! yikessss, definitely not our usual MO but turdely fun. highlights: Todd’s excitement, Jessie Payo’s romper, Rachel Specter’s “energy” and pink tights, Katy Stoll’s new fancy camera, Joey’s red shoes, my Peanuts sweatshirt dress, Dan Levy’s ponytail, Aziz Ansari’s and Joey’s close-texting, Justin Kredible’s magic tricks, Ravi’s Indian sitcom stories, and an abandoned rose.
the above video is something Jessie showed me a while ago and it totally cracks me up from the way they sit with their “energetic hands” pose, “sweet-berry-wine!” and “peanut nor”…haaa!
rosy clothesies: vintage Peanuts sweatshirt dress, black stirrup dance tights, jessica simpson yellow pumps, vintage bakelite ring, Mr. Kate love loop necklace, cereal ring, and mini cereal ring. Jessie Payo’s romper from urban.
