we succeeded in having a 100% vegan thanksgiving! and let me tell you, i didn’t miss anything! we went pretty traditional with: creamy mashed potatoes, my mom’s famous hazelnut stuffing, mashed sweet potatoes with candied pecans, maple glazed brussel sprouts with hazelnuts, homemade cranberry sauce, gravy, kale salad, blistered green beans, Field Roast Celebration Roast as our ‘turkey’ replacement and finished off with apple, pumpkin and sweet potato pies with rice ‘whipped cream’, warm apple cider with amaretto and plenty of champagne, chianti and mulled wine throughout the night.
