my mom put together this macro lunch for me yesterday – it was just too cute! it’s a good example of the macrobiotic ratios: grains is the bulk along with vegetables both root and top (greens) – then there is beans and bean products in the tofu for protein, pickles to aid in digestion and for pro-biotics, walnut/miso topping on the grain for some good fats, stewed apples for some mild sweetness and warm twig tea to aid in detoxification and soothing digestion. you can see how gentle and soothing it could be to eat like this, no bad vibes man!
