debuting at milan design week, yael friedman displays his compostable jewelry line – made from dried vegetables.  yael friedman is an israel-based designer and his collection will go on display as a part of the Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design Jerusalem’s Thinking Hands show for milan design week.

this exhibition highlights 37 undergraduate and graduate students and will display a range of products from shoes to furniture to… jewelry made of food.

to give you an idea of another project within this exhibit, see ‘solskin peels’ made by ori sonnenschein. the designer used
citrus fruit peels as tableware using microwave technology.
