last summer, i visited the carlsbad caverns in new mexico with my two friends and have been fascinated with caves ever since. we took an elevator over 750 feet under ground and walked through the caves chambers.

the carlsbad caverns were discovered by jim white – who explored the caverns by way of his homemade wire ladder that you can see i took a picture of above… looks pretty safe to me!
