anna garforth is an artist and designer based in the united kingdom whose most famous work uses moss to create words and art.
my favorite of her works is entitled ‘nourish’ and was done in collaboration with a poet by the name of Eleanor stevens. using eleanor’s poems, anna transformed her words onto buildings and walls using moss.
not only is this project an experiment in public art, it is an experiment in environmental graffiti.
