Steven Rodrig, a New Jersey-based electronics repairman-turned-artist, takes old computer chips and turns them in to amazing sculptures. Under the name PCB Creations, Steven collects old, out-dated chips and gives them a second life. Because technology is ever-changing and rapidly evolving, there is an endless amount of material for him to work with.
because he was a computer and electronics repairman, he spent endless amount of hours staring at these kinds of circuit boards. he saw the potential and the beauty that they possessed and decided to do something about it. he started with small, intricate pieces and moved on these larger sculptures.
you can get your hands on his pieces through his Etsy page, where the prices range from inexpensive (about $25) to expensive ($3500). so for that unique person in your life that enjoys things equally unique and somewhat ironic, something from Rodrig could be perfect!
