residents in a Louisiana Town may be getting a strange ban in their county. Michael Williams, a commissioner, is seeking to BAN pajamas from the streets. he is arguing that “the moral fiber in our community is dwindling” because of them. i was really shocked to hear this. how is this actually an issue? millions of people are homeless without food and this is what your worrying about?! i am sorry but Michael Williams, you are NOT the fashion police, sir!
speaking of fashion, pajamas were really ‘in fashion’ these last couple seasons! i think this girl looks chic in her pajama pants!
Williams defines pajama pants as “a garment sold in the sleepwear section of department stores.” he says that “pajamas are designed to be worn in the bedroom at night.”
people! let’s try to understand that personal opinions do not equal grounds for a law. if people want to wear their pajamas in public, that is their own decision – whether it is “stylish” or not – let them do it! we cannot try to dictate what people wear, and it’s everyone’s right to dress as they please. but what do you think? should pajamas be banned in public?
