Don’t throw that bouquet away, hang it up to enjoy it forever! Dried flowers are beautiful for all kinds of bohemian-inspired interior spaces but the drying process can take a few weeks so I say #whynot make the drying process a decorative statement as well!? Once your flowers are fully dried you can do all sorts of DIY projects with them but you may enjoy the look of these flower hangers so much you might make it a permanent art piece.

Do this with your Valentine’s bouquets to give them a whole new life…well, a dead new life 😉

Check out the ‘DIY Faux Flower Lampshade‘ for more floral inspired decor ideas.

Fun tid-bit: this Arlington French Laundry hanger was found up in the attic of our house leftover from the 1920s!

Do It!:

  • Find wall space where you’d like to display your dried flower hangers and hammer nails in hold them in place. I chose a triangular shape against a white wall.
  • Remove excess leaves and foliage from your flowers.
  • Use the twine to tightly bind your bouquets.  You can dry your flowers in groups or solo, I switched it up to give my display a more dynamic look.
  • Use the twine or clothes pins to attach your bouquets to the hangers. (I personally like the look of the twine better, but clipping them up with clothes pins is a cute option too!)
  • It takes around 2-3 weeks for flowers to completely dry depending on the flower. Make sure to display your dried flowers away from sunlight and heat as those two elements will contribute to the color fading.
