As the creator of the term “creative weirdo,” I declare that we all deserve the title. I mean, who isn’t at least a little creative, and at least a little weird? I think it’s actually our uniqueness and individuality, and appreciation for other people’s that brings us together, and I want to show off some of the special things this community does with all of that magical, productive energy.
The Little Misters are a core group of creative weirdos that have been a staple of the Mr. Kate life for a few years! They have their own dedicated newsletter each weekend, a Facebook page where they discuss ideas and inspirations, and a forum too! (Sometimes they have special giveaways and sneak peeks to new products and videos, if you’re not sold already!) Sign up here, if you aren’t already!
To pay the creative appreciation forward, I put together a showcase where I can show off the amazing things these talented people are doing with their creative weirdness! I want to continue to spotlight more amazing people, so if you want to be featured, email email@example.com with your projects and any links to personal sites! XO
Originally from Florida, Heather moved to California to pursue photography. She focuses on lifestyle, portrait, beauty, and fashion photography, and as you can see from her images below, is phenomenal!
P.S. Do you see her rocking her Phases of the Moon necklace in the pic above? Such a celestial cutie!
Monika described herself so perfectly as “a 20 something living the purple haired unicorn life with Game of Thrones on my mind, concert tickets in my hand, and green cowboy boots on my feet,” that I had to quote her description exactly! In addition to all that magic, she runs a lifestyle blog, Violet Roots, and creates colorful abstract paintings (as you’ll see below).
As far as I can remember the Little Misters, I remember Jordy and her one-of-a-kind take on things — which is why it’s so perfect that she writes for and runs her own television and movie review site, aptly named Jordy Reviews It. She’s got a penchant for horror movies, especially, and clearly knows her way around some Halloween makeup too, as you’ll see below!
The Room Stager
Like me, Tori sees an empty room and is immediately inspired to decorate it to express the space’s full potential. Also like me, she’s made a business out of this! Tori is a home stager, with her own book and website full of amazing tips for decorating your space for display or for fulfillment of your own design passions! Check out some of her staged spaces below!
So much inspiration! Make sure to sign up to join this group of awesome people here!
