      Hi Mr. Kate! I am in the process of redecorating my bedroom. It is in a farmhouse style, the walls are a darker grey color, there are light hardwood floors, and the furniture is made of wood. I wanted to put an area rug over the floor. What color/design and texture do you think would work best with the room? Thank you Kate!

        Hi Abby,

        Thanks for posting! It depends on the color of the decor in your room, but I am always a fan of a natural shag rug! One in a white tone could play well off of the other neutral colors in your room and not overwhelm the eye.

        If you wanted to pull in the gray tones from the wall, try a rug like this one with a trellis pattern! They are super chic as is, and will complement and look great with a lot of different design styles and furniture options!
