Good for you for starting a private practice, that’s so exciting!! For this kind of an environment, I would say to keep a neutral palette and bring in black and white art, mixed metals, and wood tones so the design and look is complex but there isn’t one color to influence people’s moods.

A trick to get these kind of textural layers is to shop at flea markets for pieces with character. Don’t be afraid to mix colors of metal and tones of wood if everything else is neutrals or whites and creams.
