      Hi Mr. Kate,

      I know this is not a design question but I found your channel a month ago and I have fell in love with your design ideas. Your style is my inspiration. I am currently looking for colleges to apply to with an interior design majors. These colleges look for strong portfolios. Do you have any ideas or suggestions on how I can make my portfolio strong for interior design?

        OMG, we’re fangirling together because you posted a question!! Thank you so much for all the support!! Love you!

        In my opinion, any real world experience you can site will be a good addition to your portfolio. Anyone can moodboard their life away, but being able to physically implement your ideas is a great thing.

        Try styling little vignettes like on a dresser or in other areas of your home!

        Make it like a magazine you’d want to read with varying photos.
