Redoing my small room

I want to redo my room for my birthday because its not my style anymore. But my room is so small it’s 210sq ft, I have a full bed. I love the trendy clean pastel style, like Alisha’s room. I also need help with the floorplan on where to put my furniture in my room.

Have you seen Kate’s YouTube video on how she shops online? There a great tip she gives about using a website to help layout your room. I personally like to write down the measurements of a new space  on plain paper, using a ruler to turn feet into inches (or cm if you don’t have big enough paper), and map out the layout of the room, noting where windows and doors are. Then maybe start taking out some items that are outdated or not your style anymore, so you can see a clean slate and go from there?
