Removing Wallpaper

Hey Mr. Kate and Little Misters! What’s the best way to remove wallpaper (groan, I know!!)? My husband and I inherited vertically striped wallpaper in teal and ivory in our master bedroom, and I am desperate to get rid of it! I have seen machines that claim to make it easy, but are they really worth it?

Hey Greta!!

Though I haven’t had a lot of experience removing wallpaper, I’ve always done it manually — with some solvents and my own two DIY-ing hands!! If you’re going to pursue a machine, I would read reviews very carefully before spending the time and money!!

As far as remover sprays and solvents, DIF is really great! You can get it online, or at local stores like Home Depot or Walmart!
