Room needs rearranging

Hi Mr. Kate!

 

I’ve been watching your videos for a couple months now. I binged the OMGWBAH series at first, I really love the way you have decorated everything. I just repainted my room and got myself a wardrobe to store some clothes that didn’t fit in my closet. I’m just having a hard time figuring out the placement for everything. I’ve included some pictures.

Hey Kayla!

First of all, props for getting yourself more storage! The key to making a space look good is making sure there is a place for everything.

Now, onto furniture placement! I feel like the desk wants to not be in front of the window if that’s possible? Could you flip flop that and put a bedside table next to the bed and the desk next to the wardrobe?

If you can’t find a good position for the desk, you might just have one too many items in that room. Getting rid of the desk and getting yourself a nice work tray for the bed so you can sit in bed with your laptop might be a good move to make the room feel more open. You don’t need to throw the desk away! Try moving it to another room in the house that might need it more!
